Nurse Practitioner Jennifer Jessen was born and raised in Southern California. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego in 1998 while on a softball pitching scholarship. She then obtained her Master of Science in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner Degree from Azusa Pacific University in 2004, while working as a RN in the Emergency Department at St. Joseph/CHOC Hospital in Orange. She is Nationally Certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She joined Newport Heart Medical Group in January 2008. She spends her free time training for half marathons and visiting her family in Arizona. She lives in Huntington Beach
