 Dr. Gennie Chui-Ting Yee
​received her Batchelor’s Degree in Molecular Cell Biology/Genetics from UC Berkeley in 1996 and then her Medical Degree from New York Medical College in 2000.  She then completed her Internship/Residency at St. Vincents in Manhattan, New York in 2002, followed by a General Cardiology Fellowship, also at St. Vincents, in 2005.  She then went on to complete additional training and certification in Interventional Cardiology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York in 2006.


Dr. Yee joined Newport Heart Medical Group in June 2022 after several years of experience with Kaiser Permanente in Northern California where she was an Interventional Cardiology Attending from 2006 through 2021, as well as being the Cath Lab Medical Director for several years.  During this time she was also part of the Kaiser Permanente Structural Heart Team and obtained certification in TAVR procedures and MitraClip procedures.
